Strap
The strap is used as a complement to the gutter hook to make sure the gutter manages extra load in exposed areas. The strap is not an accessory for the gutter hook but is best fastened between or beside each gutter hook.

Assembly
The strap is fastened in the bulge of the gutter and is nailed/screwed in place in the same heal as the gutter hook. So the strap is mounted under the ceiling cover, just as the normal gutter hook
