When you assemble the gutter joint it is very important to get enough pressure against the gutter in order for the rubber seal to be tight enough. We have solved this by having a hinge to help in the assembly.

You don't need to use any sealant when you mount the gutter joint correct.

An option to the gutter joint is to join the gutters directly in each other without using a gutter joint. It is then very important to have the correct overlap and to use a sealant.
