Drain trap / Lövis

You use the drain trap to prevent leaves and twigs from jamming the ground drainage. The drain trap and the self clean drain trap Lövis fits directly into a ground drainage of 110 mm. To fit smaller dimensions you can use a sleeve.

All drain traps are made of plastic. The grid for the drain trap is bundled but is also available as a spare part which you can buy in case it needs to be replaced.

Together with the drain trap you can add an extension pipe to make the installation easier and be able to remove debris from the drain trap.

Above the drain trap Lövis you can put a drain shoe or an extension pipe. Both of these products runs outside the downpipe.

There are also lids available for drain trap Lövis. The lid is mounted so it covers about halt the opening and it then stops water from gushing out during heavy rain. The lid is only available in green colour.

Gutter strainer is an alternative to drain trap, but they require you to manually clean the gutter as the strainer prevents it from coming down.

The storm water strainer is an older type of leaf separator and is ment to hang in the downpipe that is connected to the ground drainage. Above the storm water strainer you install an extension pipe that can slide outside of the downpipe above.
