Fold-out Shoe
The fold-out shoe is used to save the water for use in watering, by collecting it in a barrel. If you have a ground drainage you can use the fold-out shoe in combination with a drain shoe. They aren't connected with each other in that case, as the fold-out shoe must be placed higher in order to let the water out in a barrel.

The fold-out shoe is mounted in the end of the downpipe. Remember that the shrunk part of the downpipe is only used to lengthen pipes. All other product connections should be done without the shrunk part.
